Indiana working to help young entrepreneurs start businesses

Indiana is working to keep young talent in the state and help them start businesses through the “Starter Coalition,” which supports new entrepreneurs and builds a strong business community.

“This is about connecting and making it less challenging for start-ups in places that have been ignored,” Gerry Dick from Inside Indiana Business told WIBC’s Tony Katz. “Another piece of this start-up economy is finding ways to keep people here and attract new talent.”

Dick says it’s tough to help businesses grow to the next level. He added that people in the business world are waiting to see what the next fiscal year will bring, whether the economy will have a hard or soft landing, and if a recession is coming…
