Adirondack cross-country teams sweep competition

BOONVILLE — The Adirondack Central School boys and girls cross-country teams both went 3-0 last Wednesday, Oct. 9 in their races at the Deerfield Wilderness Park. Despite the colder and rainy conditions, the Adirondack Wildcats picked up victories against Canastota, New York Mills and Sauquoit Valley.

The boys defeated their divisional opponent Canastota, 24-32. Sauquoit Valley was incomplete, but the race with New York Mills was close. The boys team was down a runner for the day, so everyone needed to step up and do their part. The boys came away with a 26-29 victory over New York Mills…
