Arizonans who live in long-term care communities often face challenges when trying to vote, due to mobility or other medical issues. KJZZ has more on what’s being done at the federal level to ensure this population can cast their ballot.
The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid issued a memo reinforcing the regulatory expectations that nursing home residents must have the ability to vote without interference, coercion, discrimination or reprisal from the facility.
