STATESVILLE, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — The N.C. State Highway Patrol (NCSHP) are investigating a fatal collision that occurred Saturday.
Around 11 a.m., NCSHP responded to N.C. 115 near Ella Kay Lane in Iredell County.
Officials say a 2005 Honda motorcycle was traveling north on the highway when it attempted to pass a 1969 Chevrolet logging truck in a no-passing zone.
