SWITZ CITY — The Shakamak volleyball team captured the Class 1A Sectional 61 championship on Saturday night at White River Valley as they swept Lighthouse Christian Academy three sets to none.
“It’s great, especially to take it in three in back-to-back seasons now,” Lakers head coach Emeral Goff said. “I’m just so proud of the girls. They truly gave it their all today. It was definitely a team effort all the way around. Every player that got on the court worked together.”
