ROCK ISLAND, Ill. – Junior Alyza Koppes ran her fastest race as a Ram and placed third out of 264 finishers in the women’s Blue Division at Saturday’s Interregional Invitational.
Koppes covered the Saukie Golf Course in 23:02, shaving 34 seconds off her personal-best 6K time. She was second among all collegiate finishers, trailing only Wash U’s Macy Iyer (22:48).
Koppes led the Rams to a fifth-place showing in the 25-team field with 204 points. Wash U captured the team crown with 24 points…
