In a game they needed, the Arkansas State Red Wolves played their best game of the season and crushed the Southern Miss Golden Eagles 44-28 in a Sun Belt Conference game Saturday night in Hattiesburg, Miss.
The Red Wolves won all three phases of the game, had a season-high rushing output and put the game away with an impressive 9-minute drive in the fourth quarter that ended with a Clune Van Andel field goal. The Red Wolves converted three fourth-downs on the game-clinching drive.
