The 49ers have been plagued by injuries throughout the 2024 season but help may soon be on the way.
Looming largest among all of San Francisco’s absences is that of do-it-all running back Christian McCaffrey, who has yet to play this season. McCaffrey is dealing with Achilles tendinitis and was placed on injured reserve ahead of Week 2.
