RADNOR — Recently, the Radnor Township Police Department’s Community Support Unit welcomed members of the New Castle Police Department’s Behavioral Health Unit.
The collaborative meeting focused on co-responder programs in the area and best practices for coordinating responses to mental health emergencies or addiction. Both programs aim to help connect individuals in crisis with resources or treatment to prevent future contact with law enforcement and advocate for victims of crimes and their families.
