Cougars Compete in Friday’s Angel Mounds Invitational; Crouch Becomes Fastest Freshman in Program History

EVANSVILLE, Ind. – The IU Kokomo women’s cross country team was back in action Friday morning in Evansville for the Angel Mounds Invitational, held on the same course that will host the River States Conference Championship Meet in three weeks.

In a field loaded down with NCAA Division I foes, the Cougars did not score as a team due to not having the minimum of five finishers.. Southern Indiana won the race as a team with a total team time of 1:49.50.

Hannah Wells did what she’s done for much of her IU Kokomo career, leading the Cougars with a strong 53rd place finish amongst a stout field. Her time of 23:29.9 was a season 6k season best…
