Southeastern Bahamas:
Hurricane Oscar is near the Turks and Caicos Islands. It is expected to bring heavy rain and windy conditions to the Bahamas, Turks and Caicos, and Cuba.
Models have Oscar tracking towards Cuba before taking a sharp turn northeast. Oscar could bring an elevated rip current risk to our area by next week. No direct impacts from the storms are expected for Southeast Georgia or the Lowcountry.
