Farm Credit of the Virginias (FCV), a lending cooperative serving Virginia, West Virginia and western Maryland, recently donated supplies and made a monetary contribution of $5,000 to Wellspring of Greenbrier, a nonprofit based in Rupert, W. Va.
Founded in 2004, Wellspring of Greenbrier provides food, clothing and other life essentials to southern West Virginia’s disadvantaged, unhoused and transient populations. Wellspring of Greenbrier’s mission resonated with FCV, which is why FCV chose to support the organization as a part of their recent company-wide meeting, “All Hands.” FCV employees donated cleaning supplies, hygiene products and food items, which they brought to their recent All Hands meeting to organize and package up for Wellspring of Greenbrier…
