FISHERSVILLE – In need of a victory to stay in the hunt for the Shenandoah District title and move a step closer to securing a playoff berth, Wilson Memorial defeated its Augusta County rival Fort Defiance on Friday in a 28-21 victory.

Wilson Memorial running back Keyvon Jones ran wild, carrying for 235 yards and three touchdowns, as the Green Hornets (5-3, 2-2 Shenandoah) grabbed a big first-half lead and then came up with a late stop to secure the win.

Jones also completed a pass for 40 yards and was a defensive standout for the Hornets…
