Staying dry and sunny on the Gulf Coast

MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) – We’ve settled into a very quiet and dry October weather pattern that will persist for at least the next week or so. This means mornings will be generally cooler, while afternoons will be a bit warm. Weekend morning low temperatures will be around the low 50s, with our afternoons reaching near 80°. In the week ahead, we’ll see slightly warmer afternoon temperatures mid-week, but no major temperature swings over the next seven days. High pressure looks to remain in control for most of our forecast.

SUNDAY:

Our forecast for today will be very similar to Saturday. Highs will once again be around 80° and skies will be mainly sunny at the beaches. We’ll maintain a high risk of rip currents with somewhat rough conditions offshore…
