Latest cut brings West Virginia personal income tax rate reductions to 27.25%

CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WV News) — In addition to the 4% reduction that was already set to take effect next year, West Virginia residents can now count on a further 2% reduction to the state’s personal income tax rates starting in January.

The West Virginia Legislature approved Gov. Jim Justice’s proposal for the additional 2% cut during the recently concluded special session.
