LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) – Nearly 1,000 people showed up to the Kentucky Horse Park Sunday afternoon, decked out in purple, in support of finding a cure for Alzheimer’s and remembering those lost to the disease.
“This is a very isolating disease, so it’s nice for our families to see that they’re not alone in this fight,” said Jessica Munez, manager of the Walk to End Alzheimer’s .”Here are so many other people who are detailing with the same things.”
