Mocs Soccer Wins 3-1 At VMI

The Chattanooga soccer Mocs beat VMI 3-1 Sunday afternoon at Patchin Field in Lexington, Va., claiming a fourth consecutive victory. The Mocs improved to 6-7-3 overall and 5-3 in SoCon play to move into sole possession of third place in the Southern Conference standings. VMI falls to 5-9-2 on the year and 1-6-1 against the league.

“Difficult match against a tough VMI team, but we’re pleased to come away with six points from two challenging road games,” Mocs head coach Gavin McKinney said.

“The squad is excited to return home for our regular season finale against Western Carolina.”…
