UCLA competed against San Diego State in a “secret” scrimmage on Sunday, and the Bruins lost 72-67.
SDSU played a rotation of eight guys, while the Bruins played 11 guys, with all playing at least 11 minutes, and the only one playing more than 22 being Kobe Johnson, who played 29 minutes. Of UCLA’s five starters in the scrimmage, just two of them, Johnson and Dylan Andrews, played more than 20 minutes.
