On October 20, 2024 at about 11:40 a.m., officers responded to a shooting call in the 3100 block of Metropolitan Ave. The preliminary investigation determined when officers arrived, they found the victim, 44-year-old William Howard Davis, shot on the ground. DFR responded and transported the victim to a local hospital where he died. This remains an ongoing investigation documented under case number 159593-2024.
