PEORIA (25News Now) – A system moving northeast could bring light showers to central Illinois by Tuesday, but today will stay warm and sunny with highs near 80, about 15 degrees above normal. Fire risks remain high due to dry conditions and humidity levels dropping to 25%. However, stronger winds on Tuesday, reaching 15-25mph, will increase fire concerns. A dry cold front midweek will also bring cooler temperatures for the end of the work week.
