Several area cross-country runners punched their ticket to the UIL Class 4A state meet on Monday.
Greenwood sophomore Mae Savage earned an individual spot at state by finishing 17 th overall with a personal record time of 12 minutes, 36.3 seconds in the Class 4A girls 2-mile at the Region I-4A Cross-Country Championships at Lubbock’s Mae Simmons Park.
