After what law enforcement called a “brief standoff” last week at an apartment complex in Tallulah, deputies with the Madison Parish Sheriff’s Office (MPSO) arrested a suspect in a September homicide.
According to information from MPSO, deputies working in conjunction with the U.S. Marshals Service, the Louisiana State Police and the Tallulah Police Department arrested Armone Wesley, of Talulah, in connection with the September 21 shooting death of 20-year-old Clayton Crye Jr., also of Tallulah.
MPSO said Wesley was taken into custody Wednesday, Oct. 16, following the standoff at an apartment complex where he is believed to have been staying with an acquaintance and where firearms were also recovered…
