LSU’s thorough domination over Arkansas did not go unnoticed and a pair of Tigers were recognized by the SEC for their efforts in the win.
Redshirt junior kicker Damian Ramos and junior right tackle Emery Jones were honored by the SEC fo their efforts. Ramos was named the league’s Special Teams Player of the Week, while Jones was the Offensive Lineman of the Week.
Ramos had maybe his best game as a Tiger going a career-best 4-4 including hitting a new personal-best 48 yards. He also hit from 47 and knocked down a pair from 33 yards out. Ramos was also 2-2 on his PATs and has now hit 114 in a row; that puts him four behind Cade York’s program record of 118 consecutive PATs…
