CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) — The National Montford Point Marine Association Chapter 47 will honor the legacy of Montford Point Marine Alonzo H. Rouse by presenting his family with the Congressional Gold Medal posthumously.
The ceremony will take place during the association’s gala on Saturday, Oct. 26, at 6:00 p.m. at The Citadel’s Buyer Auditorium in Mark Clark Hall.
