Wilmington Jaycees Celebrate 60th Annual Christmas Parade:
The Wilmington Jaycees are thrilled to announce the 60th Annual Christmas Parade, set to take place on Saturday, November 30, 2024, in downtown Wilmington. A beloved tradition for families across the region, the parade will begin at 11:00 a.m. and promises to deliver a festive kickoff to the holiday season. The Jaycees are again holding the parade on the Saturday after Thanksgiving in conjunction with Small Business Saturday.
This year’s parade will be bigger and better than ever, featuring:
- Spectacular floats decked out in holiday cheer
- Marching bands from local schools and community groups
- Santa Claus! – making a grand entrance to spread joy and greet children
- Performances by dance troupes, cheerleaders, and community organizations
- Vintage cars, local dignitaries, and much more
