Spartanburg VA clinic employs mobile medical units after Helene damages

SPARTANBURG COUNTY, S.C. (FOX Carolina) – The Spartanburg VA clinic has begun to employ mobile medical units after its main facility was rendered unusable following water damage from Helene.

Roger Depra, Chief of Community-Based Outpatient Care, said that mobile medical units known as C-Forts have allowed patient care to return in a limited capacity since the clinic was declared unsafe.

These mobile units are equipped with routine follow-up care, joint injections, and battlefield acupuncture. Patients no longer have to drive into Greenville to receive these treatments…
