A 19-year-old Bealeton man is behind bars after leading Fauquier County Sheriff’s Office deputies on a high-speed chase overnight.
Just after midnight, a deputy attempted to conduct a traffic stop on a blue Audi that sped past him, traveling at 75 mph, 20 mph over the speed limit, according to a sheriff’s office news release.
The driver of the Audi sped up and turned off the car’s headlights in an attempt to avoid detection. At one point, the Audi hit speeds of 130 mph going north on Lee Highway, the release stated…
