Presentations set on Seneca’s native history

SENECA COUNTY—The country recently celebrated Indigenous People’s Day and Columbus Day. Next month, the county will celebrate Native American Heritage Month with two presentations.

Seneca County has been celebrating its 200-year anniversary this year with events commemorating the history of the area and the European origins of its people. But, there’s more to be learned about the land before it was called Seneca County.
