BALTIMORE (WBFF) — Johns Hopkins University & Medicine is set to host its free fall expungement clinic this weekend. Expungement removes eligible criminal convictions and acquittals from records, helping people get jobs.
On a Tuesday edition of FOX45 Morning News, Tom Rodgers spoke to Maryland legal aid Angus Derbyshire about the important role events like this play. Derbyshire says there is a lot of depth of service available at the clinic.
“There are a number of convictions that are potentially eligible for expungement, and many of those have certain wait time,” Derbyshire said. “But what’s really exciting is that over the past year or so many of those wait times have been reduced significantly.”…
