A 16-year old male from Castleton was arrested by North Greenbush police department and two illegal handguns were removed from the street following a swift and coordinated investigation. Police say the investigation began October 17th when following an investigation into a 14- year-old Columbia High School student accused of posting photos of himself posing with firearms.
After the student was identified and interviewed at his residence at Eagle Rock Apartment, police say they believe that the student stole the gun from a residence in Troy.
The other weapons in the photo were found to be Airsoft gun, which is not illegal…
