FLORENCE, S.C. – The 2024 election started in earnest Monday for Florence County voters as well as motorists who count on Third Loop Road as a quick way to get from one side of town to the other.
Voters started to arrive at the Florence County Election Commission’s office on Third Loop Road at 6:15 a.m. and by 7 a.m. the parking lot was full. Soon thereafter, Third Loop backed up and South Irby Street as well.
At one point, Third Loop Road traffic backed up to the Church at Sandhurst. Irby Street was not much better…
