The singer had her name on everyone’s lips when Elvira seemingly called her out during Q&A at Knott’s Scary Farm in Buena Park. The actress, whose real name is Cassandra Peterson, recalled a time when the Nickelodeon alum turned down her request for a photo while backstage. Now, Grande is telling her side of the story, explaining that things weren’t as they seemed.
The Wicked star responded to Elvira’s accusations in the comment section of a post explaining the ordeal. Grande confessed that she was “disheartened” by the Misstress of Dark’s complaints before sharing what happened:
