YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) — A Boardman woman accused of stealing more than $30,000 from her former employer pleaded guilty to charges in her case and was sentenced on Monday.

Kathryn Husak, 46, pleaded guilty to charges of grand theft and tampering with evidence, according to a court employee. She received a sentence of five years of probation, and she was ordered to make restitution.
According to a Canfield police report, Husak worked as an office manager at a business on E. Main Street, which alerted police to missing money.
A patient reported she paid $179 in cash for a visit and had a receipt but kept receiving bills for a balance owed. The company’s director of reimbursement then began looking into cash transactions and noticed discrepancies with money that had been taken by Husak, according to the police report…
