Aliquippa man pleads guilty to federal drug trafficking charges

ALIQUIPPA ― A city man entered a guilty plea for federal drug traffic charges on Monday afternoon.

According to the Department of Justice, the plea was entered by 27-year-old Kijana Stephaun Lowe, of Aliquippa, for the possession and conspiracy to distribute cocaine and fentanyl. Local investigators said Lowe was part of a drug trafficking organization and had frequently communicated with a co-defendant in the State Correctional Institution Phoenix in Arizona to order the controlled substances.

In the charges, investigators said they learned that an in-person delivery of cocaine was planned to be delivered to Lowe in November 2021. During their surveillance, investigators saw two co-defendants exiting the Greyhound Bus Station in Pittsburgh with suitcases, entering a vehicle driven by a third co-defendant, and the group drove to a motel in Coraopolis…
