CLARKSVILLE, TN − The Clarksville-Montgomery County School System will hold informational sessions for the community for those interested in participating in the Teacher Residency Pathways. Applications will open in mid-November for the next set of teacher-resident programs.
Those interested in pursuing a degree or certification in education can attend one of two sessions.
On Tuesday, Nov. 7, at 5:30 p.m., leaders in the Teacher Residency Program will discuss the three-year pathway for those who do not currently hold a bachelor’s degree. While in the program, applicants will pursue a degree and license to teach elementary grades K-5 and special education intervention through a three-year program. Residents will take courses at Nashville State Community College and Austin Peay State University.
