39-year-old Kyle Andrew Coolack was arrested Sunday morning in Pomeroy, Iowa after more than two years on the run as a suspect in the murder of his younger brother Brad Coolack, which occurred back in March of 2022.
According to KCCI, Coolack was staying at a house in Pomeroy until the homeowners called authorities after kicking him out. The homeowners reported Coolack had admitted to members of the household that he was on the run for killing his brother. He was stopped by a Calhoun County police deputy not long after the homeowners reported him, giving a false name to authorities before finally admitting who he was.
An outstanding murder warrant for Coolack from the Houston Police Department has been in effect since July 2022. He is currently in Carroll County Jail awaiting extradition to Texas…
