NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) – Sunday evening, officers with the Metro Nashville Police Department were called to the Nashville Zoo for reports of a man stealing a zoo vehicle.
According to an arrest report, a woman noticed an automatic gate was opened the wrong way and a man was trying to pull it further open.
The woman told responding officers that when she asked the man what he was doing, he went behind the gate and got inside the zoo vehicle, according to the arrest affidavit. She said she didn’t recognize the man as being an employee of the zoo…
