Homelessness, air quality on top of mind for Valley voters

Mineral King Publishing breaks down the results of a Valley voter voices survey sent out to readers

With this in mind, Mineral King Publishing sent out a “Valley voter voices” survey at the end of August to ask its readers what local issues would be most important to them come Nov. 5. More than 50 local readers participated, providing insight into what will be on their minds as they sit down to fill out their vote-by-mail ballots or flip through Mineral King Publishing’s election coverage in preparation for their trip to the polls.

The survey inquired after what voters care about most this election season, asking what readers felt are the most important issues facing their city and county, the top issues they see in education, both at the K-12 and community college levels, and what traits and characteristics they value in a candidate. Respondents also had the option to explain why these topics are at the top of their minds…
