On Tuesday, the Antioch City Council will engage in discussions regarding potential upgrades to the Antioch Amtrak station. This conversation comes nearly 19 months after the San Joaquin Joint Powers Authority (SJJPA) voted to decommission the station due to issues related to safety, homelessness, ridership, fare evasion, and response times.
