LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) – On the fifth day of his federal civil rights re-trial, former LMPD detective Brett Hankison’s own words from his trial a year ago are being used against him.
Hankison is on trial for violating the civil rights of Breonna Taylor and her neighbors in the adjoining apartment when he shot through two covered windows at her apartment after his partner was shot.
