State police cruiser struck by impaired driver in Concord

CONCORD — A New Hampshire State Police cruiser was hit by an impaired driver late Monday night, leading to the arrest of a Concord woman.

At approximately 10:07 p.m. on Oct. 21, Trooper Kelsey Scott, stationed at the Troop D barracks, was conducting a traffic stop on South State Street near Wall Street when her parked cruiser, with its emergency lights activated, was struck from behind by a Honda sedan.

The driver of the Honda, identified as 64-year-old Valerie Cray of Concord, continued driving a short distance before stopping in a nearby driveway…
