City approves remediation plan for Bingham Park and Former Hampton School Site

GREENSBORO, N.C. — Greensboro city leaders are moving forward with new plans to clean up Bingham Park, which remains closed due to contaminated soil.

The contaminated soil at the park will be locked in by a containment and cover system, according to Greensboro city officials. The stream bank is set to be fully restored.
