MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WPDE) — After months of public input and debate on a controversial housing project in The Market Common, Myrtle Beach City Council approved the plan during Tuesday’s meeting.
The Market Common master plan known as “Market Walk” will replace a hotel with residential units and related amenities. The plan passed in the city council meeting with a six to two vote.
