Florida – In a harrowing case out of Florida, a 43-year-old man, identified as N. Slade, has been sentenced to life imprisonment for the murder of his former supervisor, 41-year-old L. Williams. Williams, described as an independent and strong-willed woman, met her untimely death at the hands of Slade, whom she had once supervised at home repair job sites. Williams had been trying to convince Slade’s girlfriend to get out of an abusive relationship with him, a gesture that tragically led to her murder in February 2022. According to the State Attorney’s office, Slade fatally stabbed Williams in the chest and manipulated his girlfriend into helping him conceal the crime by placing the body in a trash can and then burying it in the backyard.
