TOLEDO, Ohio (WTVG) – Meijer supercenter locations will be hosting a baby gear recycling event from Oct. 27 until Nov. 9. During that time, customers can recycle unneeded, expired or damaged baby items at participating supercenter locations.
Customers who recycle items will receive a redeemable code via mPerks. The code will include 25% off of baby gear including car seats, booster car sears, strollers, bassinets, play yards and more.
“Car seats and strollers are expensive items that are constantly evolving to meet the safety and regulatory standards of baby gear,” Marlys Roberts, the Director of Merchandise at Meijer said. “Once expired or grown out of, these items are hard to recycle. We want to offer families the opportunity to safely recycle various baby items and be rewarded with more affordable access to essential items.”…
