‘Silly the Clown’ convicted in 1991 death of newborn daughter

MILWAUKEE — Ronald E. Schroeder, also known as “Silly the Clown,” was found guilty of killing his newborn daughter over 30 years ago.

Schroeder was convicted of first-degree reckless homicide and physical abuse of a child, which involved intentionally causing great bodily harm. His next court appearance for sentencing is scheduled for November 25 at 3 p.m.
