MCALLEN, Texas ( ValleyCentral ) — United States Senator Ted Cruz brought his ‘Cruz Bus Tour’ to the Rio Grande Valley on Tuesday night making a stop in Hidalgo County.
Cruz spoke at McAllen’s 76 Bar and Kitchen on Nolana. The crowd was electric and many said they had already gone out to cast their ballot in the first days of early voting.
Cruz has been in the Senate since 2013 and hopes to win a third term against his opponent Democratic Congressman Colin Allred, from Dallas.
