Pat Mahomes Sr. , the father of Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes , began serving his 10-day jail sentence at 4:53 p.m. on Tuesday (October 22), TMZ Sports reports.
Mahomes, 53, was sentenced for a third-offense DWI charge that stemmed from an arrest taking place eight days before his son’s Super Bowl LVIII win in February. The former Major League Baseball pitcher was busted for driving with an invalid license in Tyler, Texas, on June 29, less than five months after being arrested for driving while intoxicated in the same city, according to court documents obtained by TMZ Sports at the time.
