JACKSON, Miss. — Jackson-Medgar Wiley Evers International Airport has installed three new computed tomography machines to streamline security measures.

Kim Jackson, federal security director for TSA Mississippi, says the machines use 3-D imaging to pinpoint prohibited items, reducing the need for travelers to empty their bags.
