Bareback rider Weston Timberman feels at home in Columbus, hopes to feel that way at NFR

BILLINGS — Bareback rider Weston Timberman just feels right in his hometown of Columbus.

When not off on the rodeo trail, the 20-year-old 2022 Columbus High School graduate still lives in the town located 44 miles to the west of Billings off of Interstate 90.

While attending Columbus High, Timberman was a two-year state placer in wrestling, taking sixth place at 138 pounds in 2021 and placing second at 103 in 2019. He also played football for the Cougars, starting at fullback and linebacker…
